At first it looks unnecessary because TikTok already has a save feature, but once you actually rely on it a lot, the limits become obvious. Saved videos are tied to the app, not really to you, and there’s no proper way to structure or back them up. That’s why I started looking at alternatives and ended up with SnapTik — it makes it easier to download videos directly and treat them like real files that can be organized, reused, and kept long-term without worrying about losing them inside the app.
